CHINMAYA RANJAN (CR PARK)

The Centre of Chinmaya Mission Delhi in Chittaranjan Park was named “Chinmaya Ranjan “ by His Holiness Swami Tejomayananda. Chinmaya Ranjan means “to rejoice in the Self.” Swami Tejomayananda blessed it to become a spiritual power house and his words have, indeed, come true. Chinmaya Ranjan is truly a shrine of Param Poojya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda.

All the senior Swamis who are direct disciples of Param Pujya Gurudev such as Swami Tejomayananda Head of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide, Swami Purushottamananda, Swami Brahamananda, Swami Mitrananda, Swami Swaroopananda, Swamini Vimalananda and others have blessed this centre with many satsang programmes.

Some of the regular features of Chinmaya Ranjan yearly programmes are:

“Geeta Gyan Yagna” on Mega Screen by Param Pujya Gurudev-Swami Chinmayananda every third week of the month (7 days) in the evening between 6.00-7.30 pm.
Regular weekly class by Brahmachari Navneet Chaitanya where he expounds on a spiritual text.
The CHYK (Chinmaya Yuva Kendra) - youth wing of the Chinmaya Mission - meets every Sunday morning for a one and a half hour class conducted by our committed Sevak Nand Kishore.
Balavihar class for children is conducted once a week by our devoted Sevikas Mona Malkani and Chitrata Sarkar.
Guided Meditation twice a week in the morning.
Bhakti Sandhya is conducted once a month where a bhajan group along with members of the CHYK as well as singers from Chittaranjan Park participate.
All festivals like Guru Purnima, Tapovan Day, Holi Milan, Deepwali, Sivaratri are celebrated with great fervour and devotion.
A Chinmaya Seva Coure is conducted for 3 weeks to train those interested in becoming Sevaks and Sevikas for conducting study classes, youth classes and Bal Vihar classes.
